Position Purpose
The Data Entry Clerk performs a variety of clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of the Quality Assurance Department records and entries for the company’s various aviation clients. This position contributes to the team by maintaining accuracy with recordkeeping, auditing and maintaining proprietary software.

Work Environment
This position is 100% on location in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic). Also may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud (helicopters).

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Full-time, non-exempt. On-site position Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm.

Essential Functions

- Maintain and manage customer aircraft records in logbooks.
- Enter customer information in Corridor (software program) and create reports for managers and customers.
- Create and edit Work Orders, Work Order quotes, enter items, discrepancies, and resolutions.
- Conduct research for Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and document findings.
- Draft preliminary logbook entries form data provided by maintenance.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed for Work Orders, Purchase Orders and customer invoices.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Uphold professionalism by providing courteous customer service to visitors, clients, and vendors
- Additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new software programs.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to establish good working relationships and interact effectively with people.
- Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with Company Operations Manual and Company protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deadlines.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
