THE OPPORTUNITY
The experienced Project Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of customer projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. The PM works directly with the Chief Inspector and Director of Services to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of the project.
Perform a variety of tasks. Reports to Chief Inspector. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly exposed to office noises (i.e., office machines, conversations, foot traffic). POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Full-Time, exempt. Monday – Friday. Available for OT or weekend work as needed.

This position may require occasional travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.

- Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Works with Director of Services and shop leads to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
- Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives.
- Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Works directly with internal and external customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project create internal and external raving fans.
- Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- Measures performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Develops spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
- Reports and escalates issues, concerns and delays to management as needed.
- Manages the relationship with clients and relevant internal staff.
- Performs risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
- Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Provides recommendations for project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Uses and continually develops leadership skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-4 years of recent and verifiable experience in project management.
- Knowledge with a variety of the project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Successful experience maintaining projects budgets.
- Experience using critical thinking and creativity to achieve project goals.
- High level of customer service with internal and external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management software tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certificate
- Related industry experience
